Twin Oaks –Elevating the Golf Experience
The finest of its kind in the country, Twin Oaks Pratice Facility is open. Over 26 acres in size, largely unheard of in the golf world, Twin Oaks was named in honor of the two majestic water oaks towering serenely over the Park. Twin Oaks features almost 1.5 acres of manicured tee space and includes multiple target greens and a large practice putting green. Golfers can work on their game at the short game practice green featuring two large sand bunkers and multiple chipping and pitching areas. In keeping with the overall commitment to environmental education and land stewardship, the facility was designed to contribute to the overall storm water management plan of Callaway Gardens. The rear of the facility was created with bio ponds and landscaped detention areas that will slow storm water that capitalizes on Mother Nature’s innate ability to clean water before it reaches local streams and lakes. With the introduction of Twin Oaks, to be followed by the future addition of the Callaway Gardens Golf House, the golf experience at Callaway Gardens rivals that of any resort in the country.
